Ripoff EDP caused my bank account to be overdrawn! This is a terrible crime!

My bank called me today and let me know I was overdrawn on my account. Since this had never happened before, I was in shock! My checking account has always been in good standing. The problem was traced back to EDP Technologies Corporation of Valley Village, CA. Beware! In my attemt to fill out an application for a credit card online, this company took the liberty of taking $159.95 out of my account! - 159.95 out of my account without my permision. My attempts to contact them by phone has been a waste of time.

Now I must drive all the way to their office in California and try to remidie the situation. What other choices do I have?

This kind of fraud hurts me deeply because of my family situation. My wife and daughter are disabled and cannot recover from such a devestating event such as this. Are other people being taken advantage of also? We can only hope and pray that someone will listen to this complaint and take action to prevent this from happening to someone else.
