ACP-EP Memory will not honor rebates or reply to email/phone

I mailed in two USB flash drive rebates for $20 (Promo code 132) and $10 (Promo Code 133) on Dec 21. Rebate directions specified to wait 10 weeks after rebate requests would have reached them, then to email rebates@epmemory.com if rebates hadn't arrived.

Rebates had not arrived by mid-March, so I sent an email. It was never answered. I emailed again on March 31, April 14, April 22, received no replies.

I looked up the company's phone number on April 23 and left a message on the rebate voice mailbox; my message was never returned.

I called again on April 25 and reached a receptionist who transferred me to the rebate department, who said they hadn't received my rebate requests, and refused to do anything to help, though I offered to send copies and pointed out the directions specifically said to wait 10 weeks before contacting the company. I left a message for her supervisor, that message was never returned.

I left 3 more phone messages for her supervisor on April 30, May 3, and May 7, none were returned.

I filed a BBB complaint, company responded "If rebate information is not received by ACP-EP MEMORY REBATE CENTER, the copies of rebate information cannot be taken after the first intial attempt to reach ACP-EP."

I responded that my initial attempts to contact them were utterly ignored. They responded "Due to high volume of calls to the rebate center and emails, the rebate center can not respond to all. If the information is not received the first time either way it can not be submitted into the system after the processing has been completed."
