Internet Scam Artist Rips People Off By Shipping Empty Boxes When Orders Placed Online

We placed an order and paid extra for 2nd day shipping. Two days later we received an empty box. When we contacted the owner of www.outboardparts.com, Don Stiber, he refused to help us in any way, and insulted and threatened us on top of that. Then he told us that he tells his customers to file claims with UPS to get a refund. I beleive this is his scam: he takes orders online, ships an empty box so that he has a tracking number to "prove" shipment, and then has UPS give the customer a refund so he won't get caught.

When contacted, Don Stiber of outboardparts.com refuses to help at all, and instead insults the customers and implies that it's their fault.

The suspicious thing though, is that he inferred that it is his regular practice to refer customers to UPS for a refund. Why would he need to regularly refer customers to UPS for a refund if he was actually shipping out the items he claims to sell.

Do not trust www.outboardparts.com! Do not waste your money — all you'll get is an empty box and a lot of insults.
