I bought the 4X Made Easy program and software. Buying it was a gross mistake on my part.

I attended the training class for the 4X Made Easy (4XME) software and program. The training class instructors repeatedly stressed how easy and simple it was to make money trading foreign currencies using the 4XME software and data feed. I loaded the software and started trying to learn the program.

The 4XME program did not work the way it was promoted in training class. The instructors said that it only took a few minutes a day to monitor the market and make trades. To find good F.A.S.T. Trades you have to watch the charts constantly or you will either miss possible good trades or suffer losses.

The training instructors said that individuals should not try trading with actual money until they had an 80 percent success rate using paper money. I tried over 50 trades and every one was a loser. Success rate 0 percent. It was not as easy as promoted by the instructors and sales personnel. This was due in part to inconsistencies between the 4XME software and the training DVDs.

The latest version of the 4XME software came out a few days before I purchased it. The instructions in the training DVDs were for an older version of the software and were incorrect for the new version of the software. I called 4XME. They said that the DVDs I had were the latest available.in addition to the version differences, the latest version of the software had bugs in it that needed to be fixed. 4XME said they were working on them.

I tried listening to the online training instructor. The online instructor has multiple monitors. He talked and moved from screen to screen so fast that it was impossible to follow what he was saying. I quit using the program.By this time, having spent so much time trying to work a system with so many problems, the risk free guaranteed refund period had expired.

After I stopped using the program and data feed, I was called a few times by 4XME representatives to get me to start using the program and data feed again. I told the representative that the program had not worked for me. The sales representative told me that that I could not expect to make profitable trades until I had 5 - 6 years of additional training.

4XME has a program, 4XTracker, that monitors the Forex market for F.A.S.T. Situations but it costs an additional $100 per month. Add that to the $99.00 for data feed for 5 years, you will pay another $12,000.00 before you can expect to make money. This also was NOT mentioned during the training class.

The 4XME risk-free money back guarantee is not worth much. If a new purchaser follows every requirement to the letter of the contract then asks for a refund, they will have a difficult time getting it. The seminar instructors and sales people tell everyone that can be obtained at the end of the training class. Not so. Refunds are only issued from the home office. There is a 30 day wait before refunds are issued, by mail. Many, many new purchasers that try to get refunds never receive them.

I believe that I am due a refund because of the discrepancies between the new version of the software, the training DVDs and the grossly misleading statements made by 4XME instructors and sales personnel to entice people to purchase the program. None of these were my doing.

On March 31 I sent a letter to the president of 4X Made Easy asking for a refund due to the many problems with the software and training materials. I received a phone call from one of the president's assistants, Terry Roberson. My request for refund was denied. From his attitude, it was obvious that he (and all employees who interact with customers) are trained NOT to authorize refunds to anyone no matter what the reason was for asking. A second call from Mr. Roberson came to the same end.

There is an ongoing class action lawsuit against 4X Made Easy with plaintiffs numbering close to 20,000. The complaint was filed by Straus-Boies, LLC of Denver, CO, February 2 in the District Court for the City and County of Denver. The case is scheduled to go to trial in Denver, Colorado on October 15 through November 02.

Quoted from the Press Release about the class action lawsuit, The complaint alleges that the makers and marketers of 4x Made Easy deliberately market their products to unsophisticated investors using direct mail, infomercials, and sales events. The suit alleges that the defendants utilize marketing practices whereby they deceive customers into making an initial investment of several thousand dollars in the software by falsely promising a if customers are unsatisfied with the software. However, the complaint describes a practice whereby there is realistically no money back guarantee because the warranty expires before consumers have any opportunity to evaluate whether the software works as advertised: In order to receive instruction on how to use the software, customers are required to waive their right to a refund by signing a document with unconscionable terms and conditions contained on the back of the form. Once customers attempt to use the software according to the directions, and realize it does not work, they have waived their right to a money back guarantee. Rather than refund money to those customers, the makers and marketers of 4x Made Easy offer additional subscription services, training programs and advanced seminars at substantial additional cost, with the false promise that the additional subscriptions, programs, and seminars will teach the consumer how to make the software work as advertised. The suit alleges that the Defendants effectively pressure consumers into throwing good money after bad by metaphorically trapping its customers in the labyrinth, and then charging customers for the directions on the way out.
Nothing has changed.
