Ripoff Shipping defective product and not honoring any warranties on defective goods

We purchased a computer from Shop NBC and they online by the use of Jim Peterson claimed to be one of the leading suppliers and manufacturers of lap tops to the computer industry but this is false and misleading as they do not.

The computer I purchased (over $ 1,800.00) was subpar but worse is it had a defect in the screen and their warranty department refused to service it without a NEW fee.

Also the DVD Drive is defective, it simply has clearance issues that will allow it not to function properly when a DVD is installed with a paper lebel on the DVD as most DVD's come leaving the DVD useless.

They mislead me in my purchase and then did not fill their end of Mr. Peterson and SHOP NBC's claims on their TV show of superior support and high quality products.

To this point I have a worthless 2 month old PC that will not even work properly and a defective screen, Contacting the BBB did nothing as it simply was not any assistance.
