Ripoff does not pay for filling out their surveys

I was looking for some of the paid survey sites I've heard about online. I was looking for a job after moving, and thinking I could find something online to help cover expenses until I found a job.

I came across several sites for paid surveys, and Panda Research seemed to have some pretty high payouts, so I figured I would give it a shot. I registered, and started completing some of their so-called surveys.

I've filled out surveys online before, and the surveys offered by panda were NOTHING like the surveys I've done before. I wondered what kind of information they could glean from the questions they ask, but I'm no expert, so what do I know? The surveys were short, simple... And then came the catch.

For each of the surveys, you have to sign up for a trial offer for another site. I felt that maybe this was just an extra perk these companies had—they get their research, and perhaps a few new customers. So I signed up for several of the trial offers, cancelling within the allotted time (pandaresearch does not say anything about being disqualified for cancelling).

And now, even a month after doing this, all of the ones I filled out, are still showing on Panda as "pending". Obviously, you can't get paid if they aren't approved.

I sent them the following email a few minutes ago:

"I have completed several of the trial offers offered when completing a survey, over a month ago, and yet the status shown on these continues to be "Pending". How long does it take for these to be approved?

I have read reports that this site is a ripoff, that no one gets paid through these, and I eagerly await your response to these allegations. Go to usacomplaints.com, and type in "Panda Research"; you will see several postings from those stating they have not been compensated as promised.

Personally, I am wondering if this is a scam. No real research appears to be going on through your site, and reports on usacomplaints.com have said as much.

After completing more than the required number of these "surveys" to expect payment, I am wondering if I will see any of the promised money at all.

Please let me know what I need to do to see these "Pending" statuses changed, and when I can expect to be able to submit a request to be paid.

Personally, I've given up on actually hearing anything from them on this, at least not anything satisfactory, but I figured it was worth a shot.

I'll update with anything I hear back from them.
