Themusicmembersarea, Mp3-freebie, eMule, Mydownloadsite, Kazaalite misleading information, hiding behind numerous web addresses to make you pay more than once fo rhte same service

Internet & Web

Having tried a few internet addresses in order to be able to access potential mp3 downloads by paying a subscription (therefore naively thinking it was legal), I have come across, for the 3rd time now, themusicmembersarea.com.

They hide behind a plethora of different names. Unfortunately, it is only once you have entered your credit card details that you realise that it is one and the same company (I have been through eMule, mp3-freebie, limewire, etc etc and at the end have once again received a link to download the programme 360sharepro. All individually billed..).

I complained quite seriously the first time this happened to me (i.E. I was billed for a service I already had). I was obviously fortunate in that I managed to reach their contact and was reimbursed the required sum.

It happened yet again lastnight (via eMule.com). And once again, not only did I use the same email address (surely they should have a record and if they were honest, tell you that you already have a subscription?!) but once again they even billed me an extra $14-15 for something I had never heard of. Total of over $40. On top of a subscription I already had. And, yet again, absolutely no way of backtracking once I saw the final amount, despite the fact I hadn't confirmed anything either..

Thank you to the person who suggested contacting mp3netonline (evidently the mails I sent lastnight to themusicmembersarea went undelivered..). I will keep you informed of my progress.

It is getting to the point where, having seen what these crooks are capable of, I was reticent to leave even my full name when signing in to this site!

Let me know if anyone has any success in dealing with these criminals.
