Customorderthis.com
Ripoff Fraudulent and Dishonest Making up own rules to make more money

Internet & Web

Customorderthis.com is a site where you can get a free gift if you just fill out a couple free trials from other sites and in some cases refer some friends to their site. At the bottom of the offers page it says "custom order" and if you put your mouse on it, it says "anything under $600, " but here's what got me. It said "0 referrals." Before I went on with the offer I looked in the terms of service and anything else I could find, and there was absolutely nothing to say that I needed any referrals. So, I completed all of the terms and I got a box that said "offer completed." So I went to order my free gift and it denied it. They dont have a phone number so I had to instant message an advisor. This is our conversation:
bmin87: Help please
CustomOrderThis: With?
Bmin87: I just completed my order, but it was denied
CustomOrderThis: you need refs
bmin87: excuse me?
CustomOrderThis: referrals
bmin87: No, I have completed them all
CustomOrderThis: No, you have none
bmin87: Yes, but it says I don't need any
bmin87: Referral Status: 0/0
CustomOrderThis: Custom order means you contact me to tell me what you want, and I tell you how many refs it will be
bmin87: I just read through the entire "Terms of Service" on your website and it does not say anything about this
CustomOrderThis: I thought everybody knew this...
Bmin87: It doesn't state that anywhere, you can't assume anything, because of all of the legal issues nowadays, you might want to put up something about that in there
CustomOrderThis: Ok, I will consider it
bmin87: But as for my order?
CustomOrderThis: Link me to what you want please
bmin87: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage. Jsp? SkuId=999959600050000&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat66900050001&id=pcmprd59800050000
CustomOrderThis: On which site do you want it from?
Bmin87: best. Combuy
CustomOrderThis: No
bmin87: bestbuy.com
CustomOrderThis: I mean
CustomOrderThis: Which site of mine?
Bmin87: customorderthis
CustomOrderThis: ok
CustomOrderThis: That is
CustomOrderThis: 13 refs
bmin87: We just talked about this
CustomOrderThis: 13 refs
bmin87: What you are doing right now is scamming me
CustomOrderThis: No, I am not
bmin87: It clearly says 0 refs, and nowhere on your site does it say that you will tell us how many we have to do, so you are trying to scam me right now
CustomOrderThis: No, I am not
CustomOrderThis: I thought people knew this
bmin87: I do not owe any refs
CustomOrderThis: Yes, you do, if you want your gift
CustomOrderThis: Wait
CustomOrderThis: Let me prove it
bmin87: did you just try to send me something?
Bmin87: wtf
CustomOrderThis signed off at 10:59: 46 PM.

After this conversation I have written amail upon email and have received no response. This is definitely a scam. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do about this please help me.
