Ripoff Charged for a monthly fee $29.95 thought it was a one-time charge of $29.95

Internet & Web

I was of the understanding that I would be charged a one time fee of $29.95, instead I was charged the second month for $29.95 - this resulted in an overdraft to my checking account (cost me another $34.00) because of not knowing it was a re-curring charge.

I immediately tried to call the phone number listed on the web site, (866) 813-9025) and got an answering machine several times.

I finally got hold of someone named CeCe on the company website using IM, she refunded my $29.95 from the original sale transaction. But would not refund the "pending" transaction on-hold with my bank due to the overdraft.

I talked to the bank, they said that the transaction would go thru that evening since I made a deposit that day. The bank said I could wait until the next day and "dispute the amount with the company".

This entire process took most of the afternoon, not my idea of a good day! The bad thing is that I will have to do it all again the next day!
