Ripoff bait switch credit card theft

I purchased a camcorder online. Received an email to contact them. John/Jamie (one person. Try to disguise his voice) proceeded to tell me that the camera was only a shell. I needed to purchase an additional $250 worth of products to make this camera functional. They would not cancel my order! John/Jamie also stated He wondered how much CREDIT LIMIT was on my credit card! This prompted me to call my credit card company and report my card stolen. His statement to me was the reason for my serious concern. This company should be investigated and the people running it prosecuted for fraud and credit card theft.
