Ripoff, awaiting rebate, payment still pending, no response to emails

On June 4th I purchased a Seagate 250GB Hard Drive with an Ultra USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure for $129.99. I made the purchase expecting to receive a 50 dollar rebate. I received everthing as expected on June 8th and I proceeded to fill out the rebate form. I made very sure to include all information required by the form and I sent it out well before the deadline. Everything seemed to be going fine when I got an email from onrebate.com one June 21st saying
Your rebate payment has been approved!!!

It is now September 2nd and I have yet to receive my rebate. I am extremely upset mostly because I would have never purchased these items without the advertised 50 dollar rebate. All my emails to OnRebate.com have gone unanswered, which is what promted me to file this report.
I am still determined to get my 50 dollars and any insight or suggestions as to how I can would be very much appreciated.
