Ripoff

On June 19, I made a reservation for 2 for a hot air balloon ride through 1800skyride to take place on July 7. I cancelled the reservation on June 28 after the company was unable to provide me with the location or time of where we would be taking off from or what local company would be giving us the ride.

I have contacted 1800skyride over 15 times trying to get a refund. I was orignally charged $404.30. They have credited my charge card $303.22. Where they come up with that magic number is beyond me!

Now I am having a horrible time trying to get the remaining $101.08 that is owed to me. They won't return my emails and when I call, I get a complete run-around.

I have filed a complaint with the Nebraska Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau. I have contacted my credit card and they are now disputing the charge. I have also filed a police report.

I have checked with local hot air balloon clubs and this is a well known scam! How many more people have to be ripped off before someone can stop this company? I, like many others, am willing to participate in an legal action we can take against them.
