National Grants My Credit is Hostage to a Financial Independance Seminar Paracite

I attended the National Grants seminar in Redwood City, California 3 years ago. I had hope of obtaining a grant to start up a manufacturing of my product to sell on a website. The lecturer was captivating and insisted that we must sign some papers to set up the website and they would simply debit our bank account for the fees to host this better-than-other webhosts.

I was unable to ever establish a functional website. The logo never displayed, the photos I sent to Unim-Web vanished. I was paying for something I never received. I finally gave up, faxed them (all I could find) a letter of termination and was told I had to pay off some sort of loan.

I don't have to pay severence to cable service or utilities, what is this loan about? I requested proof that I owe something more than the 3 years of monthly fees paid. I received another bill but no proof. Now I am getting messages on my cell phone, costing minutes at my expense despite my request that all future communication be in writing (they have my address) or email. The phone harassment continues and today, July 13, I received a collections letter. I closed the bank account and contacted my lawyer.
