My account was closed by America Online over 6 months ago, i received a confirmation letter with the confirmation number.in June they illegally debited my account, i called them and they said they were not going to return the money no matter what, they said my account was still active, i spoke with (3) different people, the first person i spoke with first denied there was ever a debit to my account but after i told her i had confirmed it through my bank that America Online had debited my account, she said oh okay i see it now, i was on the wrong page, the second person denied the debit had occurred at all, he said there was no debit at all to my acoount, he then asked me if he could sign me up for any other services, the third person who said he was a supervisor was the rudest of all, he would not let me finish my sentence to tell him about the confirmation letter and the cancellation number i had before he cut me off and said " look, you are not getting your money back, i am not authorizing a refund for you no matter what that money is owed to us."

When i told him that he is not providing any support to resolve this situation, he asked me if i would like to sign up for America Online Hi Speed internet service, the customer support service for America Online is horrible, they should be sued until they are out of business.
