Refused payment of contracted services, while overcharging contractor as a tenant ripoff

Earlier this year, Ron Cooke, inventor of The Bag Butler contracted a local web design and advertising company to re-design his site. He wanted it to be upgraded, so it would include the video of his infomercial. The video itself was extremely outdated, yet he insisted.

While the design company earnstly re-developed the bagbutler.net site, bringing it out of the internet dark ages, some of the employees were tenants of Rons. Each month he continued to pressure for the most rent possible, even though the design company rented, in total 7 units from Ron. Each unit ranging from $1200-$1600.

Upon completion of the new site, Ron insisted to wait until it proved itself. Unfortunately, due to the security of information and patent requirements. The design company did not have the legal authogirty to operate the site in his absense.

After many weeks of attempting to transfer the account completely into Rons, he said that it wasnt that important, andit should just forgotten.

Unfortunately the design company had invested over $15,000 into the development of the site. For Ron to just drop it, means the company was not able to recoop its investment, leaving it $15,000 in the whole for the project.
