And much more; however I shortened it to what I was interested in. Now my site does about 60 to 70 gig a month traffic. No problem there. It has an 80 gig database. No problem there. And is completely php driven. No problem there.

It all seemed too good to be true, so I (being the careful person I am) called the sales department. I specifically asked if there were any usage restrictions. I was told yes, there is one. "We limit your site to 50 concurrent users". No problem, it's usually around 20. So I sign up.

I spend a day uploading everything and importing my database. Everything is up and running... And running well I may add. Until, On the 4th day a friend calls and says the site is down due to abuse (he recieved an abuse page when trying to access the site). I run to my computer and check my mail. Sure enough a letter from lunarpages stating "Your Lunarpages web hosting account (pqcomp.net) has been
suspended. You need to contact support to have it unsuspended." I reply, "Why?" The next mail "Your account is utilizing excessive resources, causing a significant degradation of services on the server." (and more) And near the end of the mail the upsell "You may upgrade your package to our Dedicated hosting plan. For more information on the features and pricing, please see
http://lunarpages.com/plan3.php."

I will spare you the rest of the mails. Needless to say through the e-mails and their support forum I was told I needed to upgrade a number of times. Seems Lunarpages has a (undisclosed) 1% processor utilization limitation on their accounts. Any site with any decent amount of traffice will exceed this rather quickly. I fought to be offered a refund (As of yet I have not recieved it). And moved my business elsewhere. Their forums are full of people having the same issues as well as some sites out there dedicated to Lunarpages rip-offs.
