Entertainment Rewards
Ripoff, useless crap, fraudulent practices, $9 a month charged to CC

Internet & Web

I just noticed a charge on my latest credit card statement from Entertainment Rewards labeled:

Entertainmnt*rewards 866-364-1333 mi

I realized I had no idea what that was, and googled them, coming up with this site and a few others, all with negative things to say about them and their practices.

Basically this is a scam, you buy something at some online merchant, and get suckered, most likely without your knowledge or approval, into a subscription to this god-awful company, and from then on, they automatically charge your credit card $9 a month, and you get nothing out of it except potentially some stupid coupons.

After noticing the charge, I checked my past statements. Citibank shows the last 6 statements, and all of them had the charge ($54 right there!) and I'm sure they've been charging me for longer than that.

Anyway, I just canceled on their website, and canceled my credit card too, I'd like to get some of that money back, but don't consider it very likely. If any lawyers out there would like to pick up a class-action suit against these guys, I, and plenty others, would love to help. Thanks!
