Ripoffs and misleading sales practices

To all Consumers,

A few months ago a local computer dealer known as Computer Renaissance victimized me.

I visited their location at La Vista Nebraska as a regular customer to buy parts. One part, (A computer main board) was defective and the company refused to honor their store warranty and failed to send the part to the manufacturer so it could be checked by the experts (they could not pinpoint the problem).

Aside from the warranty dispute, I experienced the worst customer service treatment in my life. At one point, a store employee threatened to throw me out if I didn't consent to his terms.in reality, I couldnt understand him or the owner because I am hearing impaired and what they said seems to contradict the sales contract.

After the incident, the owner persisted at brushing me off while offering false hopes that I would get a refund or logical explaination from the manufacturer. Neither has materialized and the company recently stated without proof that I would not get a refund.

I must add that Computer Renaissance is primarily a used computer parts store (as the name implies). However, they don't distinguish new from used parts. I found out during the dispute that I had unknowingly purchased a used computer processor (during a previous sale) at what seemed to be a new price. Deception like this must be avoided in business.

Right now my trust means more than money and I hope to caution those who seek to invest in this business and its products in the future.
