Net Armor Email
Fraudulent charges on phone bill Trenton New Jersey

Internet & Web

Net Armor Email decided to charge me $15 for a service I never ordered. After further investigation, I found that net armor uses information taken from web surveys people fill out in order to charge their phone bill. Apparently my Brother had filled out a survey in which it was claimed he would receive a free ipod, or something similar, afterward. My Brother however does not have authorization to make changes to my phone account and the charges were therefore fraudulent.

The way you deal with companies such as this is threatening legal action and press exposure if you are not given a refund. Also, document everything. If the company sees that you are no fool and you have documentation proving your case, that you are knowledgable of the law, the issue will most likely be settled and any charges refunded.

After informing Net Armor Email that I had very strict access settings on my account and that I and only I am allowed to add services and make changes to my account, followed by a threat of legal action if a refund was not given, the charges on my phone bill were quickly removed without incident. The truth is these companies want as little publicity and media exposure as possible because they know that their practices are shady and making a public scene out of situations such as this is something they will avoid at all costs.

In a nutshell, Get tough with them and they will back down.
