Ripoff Tigerdirect falsely advertised their Toshiba Pocket PC to have two forms of wireless connectivity, and also falsely advertised a warranty

1. Please note the following facts are relative to sales inquiry TDSL #ADG-79415-479.

2. I recently purchased a Toshiba E800 Pocket PC from Tigerdirect.com

3. The online advertisement makes the following statement regarding wireless connectivity:
And the ToshibaPocket PC e800 includes built-in wireless connectivity and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Hurry!!! And we mean hurry. Because at this sensational price we are going to sell tons of these great Toshiba PC e800 pocket PCs.

4. I spoke with a Chris at Toshiba. Reference number is - . He stated this particular unit is a European model, but is advertised by Tigerdirect.com as an American model. The American model has WI-FI. The European model does not. The contact number for this person is &.

5. My question to the customer service person from Tiger has not been answered&If the unit does not have WI-FI, what is the type of wireless connectivity other than Bluetooth does it have as advertised?

6. The add from Tiger states the following:
This product has a limited warranty of:
12 months for parts and 12 months for labor.
This warranty is provided by Toshiba.

7. My discussion with two representatives with Toshiba confirmed that they do not warranty this unit, nor do they support the unit. The reason, again, is that it is a European model, and they provide no warranty or support for European models. If Toshia does not warranty the unit, who does?

I have copies of all the documentation and the add to support the above facts. My letter dated October 20 to the president of Tigerdirct.com was completely ignored.

The tactics of Tigerdirct.com is to ignore in hopes that the consumer will go away. I will not go away.

This is a classic bait and switch tactic. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
