Ripoff fraudulent finally delivered wrong item

Ordered product (Corel Bryce 5) on January 5. My credit card was charged almost immediately. There was no order confirmation email. The web site said I would receive an order tracking no. When the item was shipped. I never received one.

I emailed them via their web site (help@softwarediner.com) a couple of times regarding my order. Did not receive any response from them whatsoever.

I realized after checking usacomplaints.com that other people had problems with this shady operation. Therefore, I chalked it all up as a bad business decision on my part in doing business with these people.

At the end of January, I received an email from them They gave an excuse that the reason my item didn't arrive was because they had made a mistake with the postage with USPS. They said they were not aware of the increase in postage rates. They said they were resending out all of the orders that were returned to them.

I felt a little better after receiving this email.

The item finally arrived on February 4 (almost a month from when I placed the order).

Anyway, after I loaded the CD into my computer I discovered that they sent me something useless. They sent me Application Files for Bryce 5. This is useless to me because there is no installation file to install the program. To top it off, the files on the CD are all for a Windows platform. I have a Macintosh. When I ordered the item, their web site said the software was both Macintosh and Windows compatible.

I went to their web site. There's a notice on the web site saying that they are no longer doing business!!!

What a classic RIP-OFF!
