Stores Online
Ripoff dishonest luring people by deceitful practices ridiculously high prices

Internet & Web

I recently was invited to a 90-minute Internet Marketing Conference, where I would be served a free dinner along with a free business organizer. After sitting through a two-hour presentation, which failed to give any pertinent information, I was utterly disappointed when the "dinner" turned out to be simply a croissant with lettuce, cheese, and tomato served with a helping of potato salad and banana pudding. I was even further disgusted when the servers finally brought out the tea to drink with our "dinner", especially after I had already finished my meal. As if this wasn't enough, we were told that they did not have enough business organizers to give to everyone. Maybe this sounds trivial to some, but I think a company should deliver what it promises, and not use tactics to lure people.

Like most of the attendees there last week, I fell for their enticing presentation and paid them $20 for a one-day workshop. I was skeptical about their high-priced fees, so luckily I did some research on the Internet and found significantly lower priced offers from other companies.in addition, I looked up some information on Imergent, or StoresOnline and found a lawsuit filed against them in the state of Texas, not to mention other numerous complaints, including a Dateline report interview with a lady who was scammed out of a great deal of money. Needless to say, I feel very fortunate that I found out about this company before doing any business with them, and I encourage anyone to do research on a company before you sign anything or certainly before you give them any of your hard-earned money! As for the $20 I gave to the StoresOnline representative, I have called my bank tonight and ordered a stop payment.

I want to thank you for your website because it prevented me from getting involved in something I would have regretted. I just hope this website and others like it can help to deter others from investing in this scam.
