Rebate ripoff scam

This company "supposedly issues" rebates for products brought from TigerDirect.com (I suspect its just a division of the same company hiding its ownership for scams like the one I am stuck in).

I bought a Sony DVD burner from TigerDirect - it had a $10 rebate. I have had bad experiences with rebates in the past - I have always suspected they are scams run purely with the following assumptions -
1. People do not keep track of the documentation submitted - that way when the rebate company denies your rebate after, oh about 8 weeks with bullshit like 'No signature on form or missing code' you don't really know if they are telling you the truth.
2. The hassle of resubmitting is too much for most people. These people use this as a business model!

OnRebate pulled the same BS with me - however I have kept copies of all the submitted documentation. After 8 weeks they tell me my signature is missing from the form! Funny thing - my photocopy has the signature.

I wish there was a way we consumers could teach these scam artists a lesson they will never forget!
