Ripoff Mislead Provoked Lied They Took advantage of myself and others

I recieved a flyer in the mail from South East Auto Liquidators informing me of a "Florida's Official Reprocessed Bank Sale Event" in Cape Coral, Florida.included on this flyer was a prize scratch off box with a banner stating that I was a guaranteed winner of one of the five prizes listed ($5000.00 cash, $100.00 cash, Sony Plazma TV, $1000.00 shopping spree, or Five seater Sea Doo boat.) *No purchase necessry*

I arrived at the event on Sunday morning and found a sales coordinator, as required by their rules, so that I could scratch off and claim my prize. To my suprise I was a grand prize winner of a $1000.00 online shopping spree with World of America (www.woarewards.com). Excited, I hopped on the computer and began surfing through their website to begin shopping for Christmas presents with my $1000.00 shopping spree.

In looking at the certificate, I did notice a disclaimer which stated that "a processing and delivery fee to help offset shipping, handling, and administative costs." would be charged to the recipient, which honestly did not bother me until I found out how much those fees added up to...

After finding the items that interested me on their website (www.woarewards.com), I decided to research other retailers to get a ball park figure of how much those same items truly cost. I found that World of America is charging two to seven times more than all other retailers on the web for those same items. But what the real kicker is is the processing and delivery fees World of America charges. Those fees amount to over double the cost of the actual value of those items as listed and sold on other retailers websites, rendering the "$1000.00 shopping spree gift certificate" worthless!

Example: A coby MP3 (MPC741) player was selling for $249.95 on World of America website, which would be covered under the gift certificate but the processing and delivery fee that I would have to pay out of pocket is $83.95. Other retailers online are selling that same MP3 player for only $45.00 up to $58.00.

* What happened to being a winner?

* Is this another "additional profit margin" for SE auto Liquidators?

* How many people have been, currently are, and will be mislead into believing they have won?

* Why would a company or both companies take advantage of consumers exspecially when people are financially hurting?

To prove my point, simply check out the website (woarewards.com) and compare pricing with other websites. Then see below for an example of what the Processing and Delivery fees are:

My main purpose is to help inform individuals and families so that they are not mislead by this scam, taken advantage of by either company (ies) involved, and to help all consumers from over paying for products and services offered on World of America company and to help them make wise choices when shopping online.
