Rip-off, Dishonest, Sent me USED make-up!

I bought the product Sheer Cover Make-up (like Bare essentials) from SarahGifts.com on 10/06/05. Much to my complete surprise, when I received the product and opened it I found it to be used! The clear wrapping had been broken off a few of the powders and and the cocealer had finger marks on it!

I immediately phoned Sarahgifts.com only to get a disconnected phone number. When I emailed their sales address, I got a response saying they were in the middle of changing their main line. They said that they were sorry about sending me the used products and I should send it back to them for a full refund.

I asked them why they would send me used products... Not only is that unsanitary but gross! They claimed that the product had come that way from Sheer Cover directly and that they simply shipped it to me they way they got it from Sheer Cover...

Yeah right, I thought. SarahGifts.com obviously doesn't stand behind what they sell on the web and that was an obvious lie they had told me about it being Sheer Covers fault.

So, long story short. I shipped back the product, which might I add they charged me $9.99 for UPS Ground shipping when in fact they had sent it to me via USPS postal for $6.20 (said it right there on the box). They claim to have not received it yet and it has been nearly a month. FYI, I had to pay to ship it back, so now I am out-of-pocket even more.

I keep on calling their new main line to only get a crummy answering machine picking up saying that all of their "reps" are busy and they will not return any of my recent emails.

This is the last email I received from them on 11/18/05:

Hello Katherine,
The order has been refunded fully. Please wait a few days for the funds to appear in your account. But we are still waiting for the package to arrive.
