Ripoff, Fraud, scumbags, Their software doesn't work and causes more problems than ever

Internet & Web

I'm a 65 year old Texan thats been to several county fairs and rodeos and should have known better.

My PC was running slow and experencing freeze up so I purchased PC Rescue from these low down "Owl Hoots" for $29.95 plus a $2 fee for something else I know not. "Stupid" tax I suppose. It was suppose to be better than Mothers milk and fix all my PC problems.

I downloaded it, used the key to activate it, ran a scan and behold, I had 649 errors on my PC through out the hard drive. I fixed those so called errors and had all kinds of problems to crop up. I tried to run another scan
to see if it "Fixed" my errors and it wouldn't run again and said I wasn't authorised to use this program.

I e-mailed them about this and they e-mailed me the same activation key again. Same results. Their program falsely shows errors and gives you no way to verify their removal. I had to delete the program and reset my "Puter" back.

They have a no refund policy and after several attempts to contact them... They stated I had to pick which errors to delete. Well Duh! Hell... Errors are errors and if I were that smart I sure wouldn't have been scammed by them. They did however send me the same activation key to try for the third time. My problem was solved through help articles on my Puter. The graphic accelerator was set to high.

I bought this through PayPal and they said so sorry, no appeal. They may be a scam company we collect for but they pay us and you don't.

My advice to you... Don't buy anything labeled PC "etc" it's all a scam. Also don't buy anything using PayPal. (look up the scam they run) Take your puter to a local shop if problem solving is needed.
