RIPOFF Phishing for Personal Information Internet

Soft 4 Download refuses to process software orders and attempts to gather personal information by having customer fax copies of identification cards. They justify this by saying post code does not match location of ISP or their bank requires additional information.

I believe this is social engineered phishing and is unnecessary for any legitimate e-commerce busniess with a good credit standing and a bank familiar with internet credit card transactions.
