Diana Wilburn - Video Monster
Of Beaumont, Texas eBay DVD RIP-OFF! She takes your money and sends nothing

We purchased a DVD from a Diana Wilburn of Beaumont, Texas on eBay. Here eBay user name was "video*monster". The only form of payment she accepted was postal money order. Big mistake. She wound up cashing it and sending nothing. As I was to find out, she had done this to several people.

Sent a 10-Day Demand letter via Certified Mail. She simply refused to sign for it. Beaumont Police refused to get up off their asses to help me. Thanks, guys. Glad you're in Texas.

EBay was of no help, as usual. Even the USPS wouldn't help, beyond a superficial "investigation" on the money order. They verified that she did indeed cash it, told me I was basically SOL.

OK... So I'm out $50. Not the end of the world, true. But still it pisses me off that someone can pull this kind of crap and get away with it.

A warning to anyone who is considering sending payment to this petty thief known as "DL Wilburn". Don't do it. Also, don't believe that you are afforded ANY protection by sending a postal money order.
