My dad ordered me a Canon EOS-1D Mark II digital camera sometime around July 16th. It was supposed to be shipped in at the most 7-10 days; I still don't have it.

We did receive a "test package, " as they called it, with a mini tripod and three piece digital care kit. My dad had asked for a tracking number for the camera and they instead gave him the tracking number for the "test package, " telling him it was the camera's number.

When we were able to get through to the company (on the phone) they kept lying about their computers being broken so they couldn't tell us the tracking number, and they thought of other excuses for other questions we might have asked. I don't remember the questions now, but I know we asked them and they lied.

We have tried calling them numerous times, but now they are either closed (during their claimed business hours) or "all representatives are now currently assisting other customers, " so we would wait on hold-several times it would disconnect and other times we would wait on the line for a long time (once I spent over 30 minutes waiting)-still, no one picked up.

Luckily my dad used his American Express card and was able to put off the payment to the company for until later when (and if) they ship it.

The company that came up on the bill was "Camera Unlimited." On their website, there was no mention of this name. There is however a seperate website for Camera Unlimited. They also have a seperate address and phone numbers.

I just want to make sure others don't have to put up with this.
