CIC Credit Monitoring
Ripoff

Internet & Web

After doing a short amount of research and talking to my bank, I was able to get a 1-800 number (220-2696) to CIC credit monitoring, which when dialed plays a recording saying it you have dialed an invalid number.

My bank was able to find that the charge was taken off of a bank card that was issued before my current one in october... So the charges could have possibly been occurring for at least ten months, still need to check my statements, but even if I do wish to stop them withdrawing funds, how do we contact CIC?

I do not recall signing up for a service, but it is possible that I requested the free credit report although I dont recall an exact date when and I certainly did not want a continual service to monitor my credit report. The intention was for a one time report.
