Ripoff scam no services rendered after pmnt no e-mail responses no phone contact

Internet & Web

Last year I signed up with this company online and paid $99 for a domain name and several web services in order to build a website.

I tried off-and-on for two months to try to get support from one of their techs, because I could never access their site to get to the development tools. A tech (Armand something) and I exchanged e-mails for a couple weeks because I could never get through to their "24/7" Tech support.

After sending an e-mailing stating that I was severely dissatisfied and that I was beginning to wonder if I was dealing with a legitimate business, I never heard from them again. I sent another e-mail explaining the situation (including a copy of the Armand e-mail exchange) and requesting a refund (which their website "guarantees"). No response.

So I let it go, figuring I was just a sucker who didn't check out a business and got taken. Lesson learned.

Then the real slap in the face came last week when I was contacted twice by Jevon from this company requesting an updated credit card for the yearly renewal of my domain name and services. Luckily, I had just recently paid off and cancelled the card I used to sign up with or I would have been shafted again.

Incensed by the audacity of this request, I spent about 45 minutes navigating their phone system until I finally was able to speak to a sales agent. I let her know very civilly that I would not be renewing my domain and the situation that was to blame.

Her response?"I'll let Jevon know you won't be renewing." That's it. How's that for customer service? If you can get through. If you're lucky, you won't, because it's really not worth it.
