Ripoff from Ebay membe

I was shopping on Ebay for Christmas gifts and found some doll clothes that I wanted to purchase for my daughter. I bid on and won them. Ms. Washington would only accept cash/checks/money orders and Christmas was only a couple of weeks away. I always try to look for the best in people and being in a rush to get my items in time, I sent her cash. A week later my payment was sent back for insufficient address and this little voice inside said, "Forget it. Don't resend it." However, as an honest Christian person, I knew that I was bound by the rules of Ebay, and since I had bid on and agreed to the purchase, I should complete it. I emailed Ms. Washington back regarding what had happened and asked for her complete address so that I could resend my payment, and I re-mailed it ASAP. A few days later Ms. Washington emails me wanting to know what's up with her money and I emailed her back and reminded her of the problem with her address (the incomplete address was what she had on file with Ebay).

Ms. Washington's responses to the emails I sent were very curt, which is another reason I should have questioned her honesty and integrity. Needless to say, Ms. Washington affirmed that she received my money (only after I contacted her wondering where my items were) and said she'd send them out. I'm still waiting, Bianca!
I consider it stealing when you give someone money for something and they don't give you your merchandise. The fact that I sent cash is irrelevent. You shouldn't have to force someone to do the right thing. It wasn't a whole lot of money, but it is the principal of the matter that concerns me. I could not sleep at night if I took money from one of my Ebay buyers and did not send them their items. I'm sorry Ms. Washington doesn't feel the same.

Ms. Washington is no longer a registered Ebay member so, unfortunately, I could not give her the negative feedback she deserved on Ebay. However, I am going to put the word out on every website I can find that she is dishonest. Her neighbors deserve to know that in case she is ever in their homes.
