Ripoff false advertisement sneaky dishonest practices

I responded to an offer for a free Wal-Mart gift card.
All I had to do was fill out a survey. Accepting any offers was optional. Yeah right up to the Place where I HAD to choose 2 items. I could not get out of the page, so I went out all together. Sound familiar? I checked on the status of my Gift card and of course I did not qualify.

I just thought everything got cancelled, till I got the
Video Professor today. I only wanted the offered one FREE
disc so lo and behold, here are three. Two are free and the third is mine for $69.95 after 10 trial days.
O. K I've been had.inside the package was a booklet
that explained all this. That's when I checked the
"Ripoff report". I called the number included to inform
them of my intent to return the discs as required by them
I got my authorization code and mailed everything with the code on the outside of the package right back.

The booklet specified without code the warehouse would not accept the package. I also sent it registered mail
After reading your reports here I was really worried
about my account getting charged so I had my bank
"hot card" my debit card. I hope this will protect me.
