A.O.L. Ripped off my cash and told me i was burnt

Internet & Web

I had internet access through a.O.L. And had an account set up for unlimited hours at the cost of $19.95 per month to be automatically deducted from my checking account. Which i made the mistake of trusting a.O.L. Because i thought they were a reputal & honest company. For the months of march, april, may, june & july.

I was noticing i was missing money from my checking account. I then contacted my bank teller to investigate. When checking my account status my teller stated a.O.L. Was automatically deducting cash in the following manner, for the month of march $36.90, april $333.48, may $54.00, june $207.80, july $196.05 which caused me to be overdrawn more than once. And jeopardized my families place of residence from which i was eventually evicted. Upon contacting a customer service rep for aol they told me i changed my account status on line from unlimited hours to pay by the hour.

I explained to them that that was not the case and i would not have done that because my wife & i were on line quite often. They refused to listen to my reply and the last word was a supervisor would be in contact with me. I got the run around for approx. 11 months when i finally spoke with a rusty bagwell employee # 17147 a supervisor for a.O.L. He told me this was a lagitamate billing.

I explained it was not he insisted we changed the rate plan but agreed that any computer hacker could have possibly changed the billing rate but insisted that it was not probable. He then told me there was nothing he could do for me.

I then asked to speak with his supervisor. His response was he could not escalate my call any higher, or even give me the name of his superior and told me he was not going to disguse this matter anymore. And more or less told me i was burnt.
