I started fulfilling offers for a $500 Bank of American gift card through Incentive Reward Center at the beginning of November (then it was called eMarket Research). I completed all offers immediately and all the companies had reported back to IRC within two weeks.

On November 17 I received an email saying that I had completed the offers and my gift was ready for redemption. I filled out the redemption voucher and sent it via regular USPS mail immediately. On December 9 I received another email stating they had received the voucher and a shipping request had been issued. After this I heard nothing for weeks.

I checked back with the website around the end of December. First of all, I got redirected from eMarket to Incentive Reward Center. Second, my page had reverted back to my needing to send in a gift redemption voucher. I was furious, and through some web browsing stumbled upon this BadBB website.

I sent in another voucher and checked back daily to see if they received it. Nothing. I started submitting requests through that crappy little "contact us" area. And through this BBB site I got their customer service phone number and left a few messages there. Nothing. I was getting ready to submit a report to the NC Dept of Justice as had been suggested on this website. But...

Last week, around January 10 or so, I got the gift card in the mail. It was postmarked December 15. So it looks like they did issue the shipping request immediately after my first voucher arrived, but it took forever for the card to go through the mail. I have activated the card but haven't tried it out yet, but I have a good feeling that it will work fine.

I'm not trying to defend the company, because they seem to be pulling one over on so many people. I just thought a successful story might give you guys hope that maybe they will come through on their end of the bargain.
