Interest for Whole Year Charged After Missing Date by 5 Days

I wanted to pay with a credit card at Lovett Dental, and they would not accept it because I was certified to pay with o% of interest. I believed them. The bill came in and now they wanted me to pay the interest for the whole year because I missed the date by 5 days. I called GE Capital Cons Cardgo, they told me that the dentist was the one in charge of the promotions. So I went to the dental office and they told me that GE Capital Cons Cardgo was in charge. Now I have to pay double what my balance was
