Inc. Rip-off! When you cancel somthing you expect to not have to pay - not with this company so CONSUMER BEWARE!

Three months ago my boyfreind and I decided to try out the products Avlimil and Altovis from Berkeley Nutraceuticals under the impression that we would be receiving a 30 day sample cycle for the amount of $4.50 for shipping and handling. The web site said we were to cancel 5 days before we were to run out in order not to have any futher charges to are account. So imediatly after ordering we cancelled both products so as not to be charged any money the following month.

Well one month later to our surprise $140.00 was deducted from our account for a two month supply for each product. Well being the nice people we are we just took it as a loss and accepted the products. Another month went by and we tried to cancel again at the website and there was no cancel option. We tried 4 different ways and nothing worked.

Finally I called Berkeley and the message said to cancel to go to there website when entered it comes up page cannot be found. So finally I called to talk to a real person which took about an hour. The man on the phone was freindly and asked me why I wanted to cancel I told him that we were not happy with the products and he said that was fine and gave me a cancelation number one for both products.

Well the next day we went to the store for supplies and our check card was denied for insuffient funds we went to the bank for a statment and guess who took money out of our account again yeah thats right Berkeley.By this time Im really irritated so I call back for the second time put on hold another hour just to be told that they would only credit one half of our money back.

They said they had already sent the product the day before I cancelled. Nobody bothered to say anything about this before, the day they claim they sent it out was on a sunday I asked when the mail started running on sunday. Anyway they said I would have to send back the product in order to even receive a partial refund.

So what it boils down to is we are paying $70 for nothing plus $60 in overdraft fees that should have never happened in the first place. When asked why we were only intitled to half our money back all they said was that we were just going to have to accept it. So I just want to warn any body thats thinking of dealing with this company think long and hard before you do because youll just end up in the hole. No matter what the reason for your wanting to take there products its no comparison to the headache youll have if you do!!!
