RIP OFF - For sure

Health & Medicine

Husband order the FREE trial via the internet and charged the post and handling fee to our charge card. Two months arrived. He used about 20% of the first month's supply and cancelled via the internet. After figuring out that the cost to return the unused, unopened second month's supply was less than the stated 60% off the cost of the second month. The stated value of the TWO months was $90 so he figured that half of the 90 was 45 and 40% of that was $20 so he agreed to that to avoid the hassle of packaging it up, taking it to the PO and paying for a 'receipt' of delivery to verify that they had received it and avoid them saying they never got it. Well, on my charge card this month was an over $65 charge. I called them and they refused to honor their offer of the 60% off and said that I had agreed to pay 40% of the entire $90 which I pointed out would only be $32.40. They could not explain to my satisfaction the excess charges. I am considering filing a dispute with my credit card company, however, I cannot bring up their offer on the internet again since our automatic order was cancelled and our account is no longer able to be accessed via the internet.

Now I read about all the other people who found the product to be less than effective and also that the medical community has concerns.
