Berkeley Pharmaceuticals/Ask Avlimil ripoff

I was foolish enough to get caught up in this trap. I ordered the Avlimil free sample. When I received it, I called the number and requested that they drop me from the program as I had just lost my job. The young man I spoke with offered me another free month - I was foolish enough to accept. When I didn't receive the 2nd free sample, I assumed (we all know about "assume" don't we?) his supervisor had over-ridden him and they weren't going to send it. The following month, they hit my debit card/checking account for $75.00.

I called and spoke with a female named Silver or Sylvia. I told her I did not order the Avlimil, did not want it and definitely could not afford it as I had lost my job and my husband is retired.in tears, I told her we needed to buy his medicine and had no money left in our account to do so. She spoke with her superviso and told me they could not accept the Avlimil back, but would credit me for $35.00. That was May 8 - I still have not received back the promised $35.00.

I have advised my daughters, my daughter-in-law and all my female friends to not get sucked into this rip-off!

If there is ever a class action lawsuit, I definitely want to be a part of it.
