Impossible to contact company to cancel!

Ad assurred cancelation within trial period was easy. There simply was no way to contact the company to return the unused portion, as required, to get an authorization #, which they require, or to reach them on the phone. This is my first time to get involved with such a rip-off company, and, as others have written, I am scared to death that they will continue sending me their merchandise at $80. A month! —I canceled my credit card, so they can no longer charge me. But, they may try to sue me. I am elderly and live alone, and am on a fixed income. Does the CT attorney general know about this company?
