Man Sentenced in NY Over Organ Transplant Scam

A former doctor accused of duping critically sick people out-of $400,000 with fake guarantees of organ transplants within the Philippines continues to be sentenced in Ny to over 15 years in jail.

U.S. District Judge David Hurd also requested Jerome Feldman to settle $2 trillion towards the patients of the implant plan and an early on Medicare fraud in California.

The 69-year old Feldman pleaded guilty last year to line fraud costs for appealing five individuals to the Philippines for possibly lifesaving organ transplants.

Prosecutors claim Feldman never organized the transplants and held the cash. One individual died while expecting a liver.

Feldman apologized in court Thursday.
