Twice now they have given me less pain pills than prescribed

Although I did not report it the first time this happened (anyone can make a mistake), when it happened again I decided it was time to go public. The current prescription was for 20 Hydrocodone pills (for after surgery).

I took one pill last night so I could sleep and have not taken any since as I had to drive today. Tonight I went to take another one and found I had 14 pills in the container, which means they shorted me 5 pills.

I did call the pharmacy and complained, and they stated they would have the 5 missing pills ready for me to pick up. Since I have taken one, I told them I would have to do it tomorrow.

I have never had this problem with Rite Aid - which is our normal pharmacy. I'm beginning to wonder if the CVS pharmacy people ever pay attention to what they are doing. This is a 24 hour pharmacy and I went in once after finally getting out of ER at 10:30 PM with a prescription that the doctor's wanted me to take within an hour. The pharmacy told me they could fill it but it would be 6 hours before it would be ready. I threw a fit and they had it ready in 20 minutes. I complained to the store manager and the company and never heard a word from either.
