The primary goal of the PLLC registration is to protect the managers, owners and staff from having their personal assets attached in a law suit.
Most doctors and professional form a PC = Professional Corp.
It seems CCDBT anticipated the law suits they are currently engaged in.
They do not accept insurance or sliding scale. That's their privilege. But after signin up they insist you come 3 times a week in group therapy in addition to the once a wee one-on-one. No one on staff is a doctor and, therfore, no one can write a prescrition if one is needed. If they think you need an RX they bring in a Psychiatist the claim is on staff an that half hour visit is $500 and subsequent visits they insist on is $250 ever other week. It is easy to spend WEEKLY $185.00 for private one on one, plus $180 group, that's $365.00 weekly plus $500 to see their MD for RX and $250 every other week to monitor the prescriptions.
