LeanSpa
The Proper Weight Loss System Total Scam, their free trial is not free

Health & Medicine

I saw this report online, supposedly from a reporter from channel 5 health news in Salt Lake City, where she used the LeanSpa Acai. I have a copy of her report and in it she said LeanSpa was offering a free trial of their LeanSpa Acai with no additional hidden offers, she was probably paid for all of this because it was a total scam. She claimed that by using a promo code included in her report we could get a free trial of LeanSpa Acai for only $1.95 S&H, so I clicked on the hyper link include in her report and was sent to LeanSpas website. After filling in all of the information they required for shipping and charging my card for a trial sample for both my wife and myself, my wife is an active duty army reservist, they charged me $3.90 for both trial offers, so far so good. Now comes the scam, you have to read the fine print in the offer, so fine that after we got ripped off I actually had to use a reading magnifier to go back over it. They send you a 30 day supply per bottle, they'll also tell you that you should use it for 30 days to really get the benefits from it.

What they don't tell you is that you are put on a recurring payment plan where they send you another 30 day supply, every month, and charge your credit card for the full cost, very expensive, and if you don't call and cancel within 14 days of ordering your free trial offer you are charged $79.99, per bottle, for the supposedly free sample. Okay, first of all it's supposed to be a 'free' trial, you do pay $1.95 for S&H, and then you're to try it out for 30 days but have to call and cancel in 14 or you get charged full price for the 'free' trial, what a joke. I didn't catch this until it showed up on my back statement, two charges of $79.99 each, and thought they were sending us two more bottles. Neither my wife or I were impressed with the results of their product and frankly we found similar products for less than half the cost elsewhere and didn't want any more. I called LeanSpa and was told that we could cancel my order, online right then and there, and keep that shipment for only $19.41 and could cancel my wife's for $34.99 and keep that bottle too. What they didn't say was that the two charges of $79.99 were for the original 'free' trial samples and that there never was a second bottle sent to either one of us. So, in the end we paid $58.30 for the 'free' trials that we received, total scam, total rip off.
