Agents-BEWARE... Company Doesn't Pay!

After becoming an agent with ADCAHB I started working in the Pembroke Pines office. On my very first day one of the seasoned agents said to me "Be careful with this company; they don't like to pay you all of your commissions." At the time I thought he may just be tired of working there, but soon came to find out how right he was.

My first sale with the company was a Medicare PPO in April. I chose to receive an advance on my commission. When I still was not paid for the sale by August I asked Gloria (lady in charge of commissions) where my money was. She stated "You cannot receive an advance for Medicare policies." I then asked the manager in my office if this was the case and he said "Absolutely not; you can receive an advance." This was just the beginning of the complete disorganization and misinformation with this company

Every sale after that except for one, I was either paid incorrectly or not at all. I cannot even begin to guess how much money they owe me to date (of course I am no longer writing business for them.) Even after I called the owner Adam who assured me he would look into this for me, I got nowhere and no $.

I wouldn't want this to happen to any other agent so if you want advice from someone who is writing policies for a fantastic company, go with Humana. I never have to fight for my money and they really care about their customers!
