Dr. Hazan, Emergency Dentist, Family Dentist, Restorative Dentist: Over-Priced Doesn't equal Quality Dentistry

Worst Dentist in Florida. Search Emergency Dentist in Altomonte Springs and you get Dr. Hazan. Call the number, which is listed as Emergency Dentist and you get a phone recorder to leave a message. Leave a message and no one from the office calls you back. So why advertise in website, and even the URL as an Emergency Dentist. Go to Dr. Hazan's office for an appointment and pay almost twice as much for a root canal and crown then the local dentist market. The charge was $1,350 on the first visit, which included $100 to just sit in the chair, in the office which was electronically secured like Fort Knox. Then $1,250 for the second part of the crown, so total cost is $2,500, when the local dentist charge $1,500-$1,700 for this same service, i.E., a root canal and crown.
So, is the extra $1,000 (doesn't include amenities) worth it? No... This dentist is rude, abrasive, insulting, and he is not focused on the patient that is in his chair. He demands his assistant do dental work that assistance should not do, i.E., the impression for a crown. This is an important technical part of a tooth replacement, which the dentist should do, not his assistant.
He ignores routine dentistry (small dollar services), but list himself as a Family Dentist. And after the horrible experience with the root canal and crown, this is not a dentist I would recommend for any type of restorative work. Dr. Hazan, who lists his BA in Engineering on his business card, should have stayed in that profession.
