McKinney Orthodontics Took Money, Didn't Provide Treatment

McKinney Orthodontics began treating my child in 2000 and to date, (May) still hasn't finished her treatment. He was constantly sick or cancelling appts. Met with his wife and demanded that they pay for a new orthodontist to finish her treatment, even though I paid over $6,000 to McKinney! I had to pay $2,400 to a new orthodontist, who is now completing her treatment. Wife agreed to pay but of course, he and she are nowhere to be found.
I filed a small claims case, but they ducked the certified letter so now I have hired a bailiff to serve them. I hear that there is a class action suit against him because of all the patients he left hanging. Supposedly sold the practice to another orthodontist and they called me but I already had a new one and wouldn't trust anyone that McKinney referred me to anyway. He is also under investigation by the MI Dept. Of Community Health and the MI attorney general's office.
