Arrogant Brattleboro Therapist Falsely Reported Parents

Linda Heimerdinger used Police State tactics to destroy my Fourth Amendment rights to privacy in my home, when there was no just or probable cause.

The bending of a Constitutional right in order to save a child that is truly in danger is completely understandable. Sometimes proving Probable Cause can't wait; you do what you have to do, quickly! But there was no battered or starving child here. This was a disgruntled teenager who didn't like it because his stressed out mother yelled sometimes.

Because Linda Heimerdinger listened to the out-of-context tape recordings of a frustrated mother, and reported them to CPS as abuse, our teen son was "rescued" into Foster Care. He never came back.

Then Linda demoralized us (my husband and me) about raising our voice and claimed that she never, ever raised her voice at her own teenagers. She also informed us that we had to become "Pro-active" in order to win back the right to live with our teenager. Nobody cared how well we had tolerated our grumpy, crabby teen and that we loved him the way that he was.

Linda Heimdinger has worked for both Health Care and Rehabilitation Services (HCRS) and Brattleboro Union High School. This is Vermont.
