I want to share this with everyone to back up what wrong doing this company/Jenn has done on more than just the consumer level. I will not dicuss her personal events as that is really none of my business and I have no desire to blame her for anything, just to inform the public.
Zenergy Fitness was offering a "turn key" business opportunity to open your own zenergy location. A $750 deposit was put down and a training manual was to be sent out. (mine was NEVER received) and you are to start marketing and such to build up clientele. The remaining $750 was due prior to starting classes.
We had an arrangement that the first couple enrollments would go directly to her paypal to cover my remaining due. Then one day I got a nasty email from some other guy whom claimed to own the company that I must immediately pay. Imagine my surprise as I thought Jenn was the sole proprietor. This went down hill very quick.
She is apparently very fond of threatening lawsuits, as that proceeded when I insisted for my $750 back if things were not going to go as planned. She then proceeded to publicly embarrass me in a very small community in an attempt to try to prove that I was holding classes under the zenergy name. I had applied for a city business liscense as instructed by her and that was the extent of it. One lady contacted me for info and Jenn claimed I was instructing her. Mind you I hadnt even received my training manual YET!
Shortly thereafter the website was down and I assume thats when she closed entirely. Imagine my disbelief that I was just scammed. And relief that I didnt pay the remainder!
I guess the economy was bad or whatever, life events happened, but this was NOT handled professionally.
