Blue Shield Exhorbitant premium increases total of 2 in one year totalling 36%

My premium is becoming completely unaffordable and this year I have received not one but 2 increases taking my premium from $ 538 per month for myself and my husband up to $ 729 per month. We each have a $ 4,200 deductible so we also pay for most of the services we receive. Needless to say we dont see a Dr very often. The first increase was in November based on my October birthday and the second increase was one month later.
There seems to be no limit to how much they can increase their premiums, I have complained to Blue Shield but to no avail. I believe they are trying to get rid of us as clients or that they are increasing the premiums in anticipation of the Health Care bill in the hopes that we will then be eligible for some subsidy.
For the record my husband and I are in reasonable but not perfect health so cannot move to another carrier such as Kaiser.
